ONE YEAR DOWN, A LOT MORE TO GO!!!

Mi Amor:

A year ago, had anyone asked me to forecast the next 12 months I would never have gotten it right coz I would have missed the key element i.e. US or PATRISANI, PSQUARE, PNP...

 I thank God you didn't think the case I made against us dating was reason for you to walk away... With each day I have grown to know and love you more...

Have so much to say but I am failing to come up with sentences which make sense. In this year I have been with you I have learnt a lot, let go of a lot of stuff. A song by Dolly Parton comes to mind as I am writing this, it goes like:

"I wasn't looking for love when I found you Just someone to be with and have a good time But I get these strange funny feelings around you When you're not with me, you're still on my mind"

Well in this case you found me, and I couldn't help but fall in love with you. Well love didn't mess up my big plans and all in actual fact it made me dream even bigger...

Realise that when the time is right, two people work towards the same goal and God agrees with them their relationship flourish!!!

I am looking forward to knowing you more and our love growing beyond our imagination!!! May God bless us with many more happy memories

File it Away

Today I learnt that filing it away helps. My day started very well until I saw my lift club driving away without me... So as I was walking to the bus stop a lot of thoughts came to mind... For a moment I was sad but then I chose to count it all pure joy... Just after I had made that mental note a good samaritan gave me a lift to the bus stop, the journey to work was so painless and I got to work a few minutes earlier... The works of the almighty always leave me in AWE!!! Today's email (see below) from Joel and Victoria also confirmed this...

When things happen in your life that you didn’t plan, do you find yourself trying to reason it all out, or look for a “file,” so to speak, in your mind? What happens when you can’t find a “file” to put it in? What if you can’t make sense of it all? Here’s the answer: Every one of us needs to create a file in our thinking called an “I Don’t Understand It” file. When things come up that don’t make sense and you can’t figure out, instead of getting frustrated or confused, simply put it in your “I Don’t Understand It” file and leave it alone. If you go through life trying to figure out why something bad happened, why it didn’t work out, why my child didn’t get healed, it’s going to cause you to be bitter. Part of trusting God means trusting Him when things don’t make sense, knowing that His plan is always for your good; knowing that He will reveal all things in His time — even if it means in eternity. Here’s what I’ve learned. Don’t put a question mark where God has put a period. What the enemy meant for evil, God will ultimately use for your good. Keep moving forward because God loves you, God is for you, and He has a great plan for you!

A while ago I wrote a blog about the reincarnation of Mr Big.

Well I think at that point I was somehw caught up in the Mr Big cycle... I was still to pass the Mr Big test... Believe me when I say I learnt a lot, I guess that is why I had to meet more than 1 Mr Big cause the lesson was just too big to learn through just one encounter with Mr Big... I am glad it only took one supplementary exam to pass the test coz I dont think I could hv survived another Mr Big.. I am glad I managed to break out of the cycle...

Life outside of the cycle has been AMAZING!!! So I encourage you all to learn the lesson and move on!!! (Stolen concluding line)

Little moments

Build an imaginary house on a mountain top overlooking a valley... Have just been having these little moments... I love them to bits... Yes the grand gestures are awesome but you hv to agree that there is something AMAZING bout the little moments... Those moments when he kisses ur finger after you have cut yourself or when he opens the door for you... They truly make everything magical hey???

2012 : The year of No Settling

“The year of no settling.” Well, I don’t know about YOU…but I think that’s a GREAT motto to live by this year! What if we ALL made this the year of no excuses? The year we throw all caution to the wind and GO FOR IT? The year we hold nothing back…not our feelings, our dreams, our talents, our plans, NOTHING? What if…just WHAT IF…we kissed the boy this year? Or quit the job we hate? Or finally started that night class we’ve been talking about? Or wrote the book? Or took the chance? Or auditioned for the part? Or kicked that loser to the curb? Or threw GOOD away and allowed the BEST to come our way?

WHAT IF we made this the year of no settling?

Makes you wonder what AMAZING things we’d have to look back on next year at this time… J
